New at Net-a-Porter

It’s comng to the end of the season and all the shows for the new lines have been displayed so new exciting designs are on their way. However until then the new arrivals at net-a-porter are minimal. However, although they are lacking in innovation they are wardrobe staples such as these Giuseppe Zanotti knee high boots.

Unfortunately they are not real snake skin but are printed cow skin. The skins used for printing are generally lesser quality hides with many marks or faults in the grain. buffed, printed of patent leathers were created to make unusable leathers usable. But back on the topic I like them. They would last you many seasons and are great for the person that loves the Mui Mui python cut out boots but is afraid to try and pull them off, not to mention they around a third the price.

I know I have never put a pair of flats on my site before but I just couldn’t ignore these adorable Burberry Wellingtons.

New at Net-a-Porter

Finally after a flow of non lust worthy shoes on Net-a-Porter these new Celine’s at the price of £421 ($858.75 AUD) have popped up. I love the way that the soles wrap around the sidezs of the foot and the way the straps continue underneath. The detailing on the shoe is gorgeous so I’ve put in two views of it.

New at Net-a-Porter

More shoes have been made available at Net-a-Porter and here is my favourite of them.

Usually I dislike Stella MacCartney shoe, I find that because of here obvious avoidance of leather she uses substandard materials making them no better than buying a pair at target, and considering previously you were able to buy her designs there it’s not too much of a stretch but, with these shoes she had made good use of the materials available and made them as creative as her garments.

I must admit I was tempted to pick the pair of Mui Mui’s below but, I think my websites overdosing on them.

New at Net-a-Porter

Every week and a bit Net-a-Portersends out an e-mail to all it’s subscribers letting them know about new arrivals and whenever this happens I’ll post my pick of the newbies and this time around it’s these cute Alexander McQueen Crocodile skin pumps with a metal toe cap. My only issue with them is that the Sole is stuck to the metal toe cap as well and I’m not sure how well the neoprene adhesive they use would stick to the metal, I would be too scared that they would peel off. I am glad to say at least they have a leather sole, I was looking at shoes in the local westfield today and the only shoes that didn’t have a synthetic soles were the Robert Roberts in David Jones. But, unfortunately none of this matters for me as because of shipping restrictions on the crocodile skins they can not deliver outside the EU, even though they are probably made from Australian crocodile skins.
